People say that today our educational system has turned into a profit business instead of providing service to the society. That could be true to some extent but when I look at the shining stars of our educational system, the teachers, I get hopeful again. The teachers who didn’t care for their own lives yet tried to save their student’s lives, proved that this profession is a passion rather than just a source of income. Courageous teachers like Nasrallah Shajee are the pride of our nation. Teachers of APS proved to be remarkable and applauding with their gallant acts of bravery. This Teacher’s Day, we’d like to thank the teachers who worked tirelessly in the Covid-19 phase and didn’t stop the learning process of their students. They’re undoubtedly our true heroes. They deserve proper recognition and honor. Dear teachers, we salute your services. Thank you for being there for us when we needed you the most.
