Prophet PBUH said, The more you sin, the darker your heart gets. And to purify your heart, two things work the best, Reciting Quran and remembering your death. It keeps you humble and focused that the worldly life is a mere illusion. It will end very soon and humans would wonder whether they’ve spent a day or a half in here. If this is how small our life is going to become, why would we even focus upon it? Our graves are going to reflect upon the life we had spent on earth. If it was a pious life, our graves would turn into a garden of paradise InshaAllah. If we were among the wrongdoers, there would be severe punishment starting from the grave.
