Women play multiple roles throughout their lives. They’re born a daughter, a sister and then become a wife, a mother and other associated roles. Before the golden era of Islam came, women weren’t given the status of honor, instead they were looked down upon as a source of disgrace and shame. Islam provided them the unique status they deserve which was in some cases better than men. A mother is prioritised more than a father. A daughter is a ticket to Jannah. A good wife is the greatest asset on earth. These rewards associated with women in islam upgraded their level and made them honorable members of society. Allah swt made a beautifully interconnected bond of males and females which is balanced in all aspects. It’s our duty to keep it balanced through our actions as well.
